Assembly Technician

We're a small, passionate team building tools that researchers, engineers, educators, and ocean enthusiasts use around the world.

Responsibilities

• Consistently assemble products that meet quality standards
• Complete manufacturing orders in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed notes on each job
• Report scrap and waste
• Maintain an orderly workstation
• Follow safety guidelines
• Communicate production issues as they arise
• Take the initiative to stay up-to-date on production processes
• Complete other tasks as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable using basic tools (screwdriver, drill, tape gun, etc.)
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift objects weighing 30 lbs frequently
• Excellent visual capability for soldering and assembly

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience soldering and assembling products
• Familiarity with 5S principles
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment
