Assembly Technician 2

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies to form complete gearboxes according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure components meet quality standards and identify any defects
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments for assembly and testing
• Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, test results, and repairs
• Diagnose and resolve assembly issues to ensure final products are fully functional
• Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to ensure efficient processes
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years of working experience in a Precision Engineering environment
• Basic command of written and spoken English
• Ability to work weekly rotating shifts
