Assembly Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of approximately 12 production associates on automotive production lines.
• Provide hands-on training, on-the-job training (OJT), and daily coaching to ensure adherence to standardized work and safety requirements.
• Ensure production targets are met in line with daily takt time and quality expectations.
• Identify and escalate abnormalities using the escalation system (Andon, quality alerts, etc.).
• Perform basic troubleshooting for process and quality issues and maintain line KPIs.
• Foster a positive team environment and ensure good housekeeping (5S) in assigned zones.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities such as root cause analysis, 5 Why, and Kaizen.

Requirements

• Diploma or technical school degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or a similar production environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures, standard work, and quality requirements in assembly operations.
• Ability to work flexible shifts according to production needs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a senior operator, team leader, or line coordinator.
