Assembly Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2nd shift Team Leaders, Assembly Operators, Welders, and Forklift Operators
• Ensure product identification, traceability, process control, and packaging instructions are strictly followed
• Monitor quality standards and ensure all assembly personnel conform to the Quality System
• Oversee first off/last off procedures and perform Layered Process Audits (LPA) as scheduled
• Train, develop, mentor, and discipline subordinates to maintain a productive and safe workforce
• Manage inventory levels of produced parts to meet scheduled production targets
• Coordinate with other departments to prevent production interruptions
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies

Requirements

• College diploma or a combination of Grade 12 and at least 3 years of hands-on supervisory experience in a related field
• Strong working knowledge of assembly, stamping, and welding operations
• Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written)
• Proficiency with basic computer applications
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
