Assembly Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership and development for the assembly team
• Ensure compliance with legal safety regulations and internal company standards
• Plan and organize personnel deployment to ensure delivery capabilities
• Act as the primary contact for the team regarding order processing issues and coordinate solutions with support departments
• Make prioritization decisions during capacity bottlenecks and initiate escalations when targets are missed
• Monitor and discuss work results, implementing corrective measures when deviations occur
• Ensure the readiness of operating resources in cooperation with maintenance and production planning
• Support the introduction of new assembly processes and continuous process optimization
• Analyze key performance indicators (productivity, rework, costs) to implement improvements

Requirements

• Completed technical training, ideally with additional qualifications
• Several years of professional experience in assembly or production
• Proven experience in technical and disciplinary leadership and employee development
• Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and a hands-on mentality
• Strong organizational talent and the ability to set priorities
• Knowledge of Lean methods and 6S
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and proficiency in MS Office
• Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and their use in production steering
• Ability to resolve conflicts and motivate team members
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system and occasional Saturday work
