Assembly Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee process concepts, estimating, design, construction, and implementation of assembly equipment.
• Direct the implementation of assembly tooling to meet production requirements for new programs and product launches.
• Estimate costs, production times, and staffing requirements for new designs.
• Review and approve assembly tooling vendor designs and monitor progress to ensure adherence to schedules.
• Assist in the development, evaluation, and documentation of manufacturing processes and control techniques.
• Create and review FMEAs, Control Plans, and technical reports.
• Perform root cause and failure analysis to resolve technical and product issues.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and optimize production processes.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering Technology or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Process Flow, Control Plan, PFMEA, Statistical Process, and Machine Controls.
• Proficiency in CAD and computer-assisted engineering/design software.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and TS 16949 standards.
• Proven project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to use common measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
