Assembly Process Engineer Seating

Responsibilities

• Lead the industrialization of assembly processes for seating systems, considering customer requirements, quality standards, and cost objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient assembly methods and fixtures
• Perform capacity analysis to determine production capacity and optimize process efficiency
• Launch seating assembly lines
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes and reduce waste
• Conduct FMEA to identify and mitigate potential risks and quality issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in assembly engineering, preferably in seating systems
• Strong knowledge of seating assembly processes, tools, fixtures, and equipment
• Experience in analyzing product designs for manufacturability
• Proficiency in capacity analysis and optimization
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
• Strong English level
• Experience with FMEA preferred
• Experience with CAD software (CATIA or SolidWorks) is a plus
