Assembly Process Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Support process parameter setting and defect improvement for the battery assembly line
• Assist with assembly parameter optimization through data-driven experimentation and DOE execution
• Support maintenance and revision of PFMEA, process flow diagrams, and control plans
• Assist in new model introduction and 4M change verification activities
• Support testing and evaluation of new cell processes and equipment
• Participate in internal and customer audits and assist with root cause analysis and corrective action
• Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot yield and quality issues
• Support analysis and improvement of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and yield
• Contribute to production process improvements by assisting in the creation of SOPs
• Assist in analysis of cell defect data to monitor process stability
• Support creation of data visualizations and technical presentations
• Comply with health, safety, environmental, and fire regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a technological or manufacturing field
• Basic understanding of statistical and data analysis
• Familiarity with quality systems such as Six Sigma, DOE, and statistical tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in battery-related work
• Experience with laser welding
