Assembly Operator

Responsibilities

• Assemble a range of hoses to a high-quality standard following written instructions and manufacturing tolerances
• Check components against orders to ensure accuracy before assembly
• Use various types of machinery to complete the assembly build
• Carry out and document quality control checks and complete all required production paperwork
• Monitor process performance to ensure maximum output and meet customer deadlines
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability policies
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the team

Requirements

• Previous working experience in a manufacturing environment
• Technical ability with a methodical and thorough approach to tasks
• High degree of accuracy when using tape measures and verniers
• Ability to work proficiently in both metric and imperial measurement systems
• Strong team player with a positive attitude toward managers and co-workers
• Ability to work overtime as required to meet production targets

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience within mechanical engineering
• Understanding of pressure and flow principles
