Assembly Operator Trainee

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Ensure produced items meet quality control requirements
• Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Use basic measuring instruments to verify production standards
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards and maintain a clean work area
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written/verbal directions
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work under general supervision
• Ability to handle moderately complex issues and refer complex problems to higher-level staff
• Beginning to working knowledge of manufacturing subject matter
