Assembly Operator Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and units based on technical drawings and work orders
• Use various tools and machines to assemble, cut, drill, grind, and shape parts
• Inspect and prepare parts prior to assembly to ensure quality
• Perform final assembly tasks and apply insulation where required
• Report faulty parts or defects to the supervisor immediately
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation following 5S principles
• Record work details accurately in the system
• Adhere to all safety rules and utilize required protective gear
• Contribute ideas for process improvement and follow lean manufacturing principles

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanics
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools and various machinery
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing environments
