Assembly Operator Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Assemble components based on technical drawings and work orders
• Use various tools and machines to assemble, cut, drill, grind, and shape parts
• Inspect and prepare parts prior to assembly
• Perform final assembly and apply insulation where required
• Report faulty parts or defects to the supervisor immediately
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation following 5S principles
• Record work details and production data in the system
• Adhere to all safety rules and utilize required protective gear
• Contribute ideas for process improvement and lean manufacturing efficiency

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanics
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical equipment
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and responsibly

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
