Assembly Operative

Responsibilities

• Prepare hardware components, spare parts, and equipment for repair activities
• Identify, scan, label, track, and update component status in relevant systems
• Carry out component assembly or replacement following approved procedures
• Support repair workflows for servers, storage, network, power, and cooling equipment
• Perform visual inspections and basic procedural checks
• Maintain accurate operational records in tracking tools and client systems
• Maintain an organised and compliant workspace in line with 5S standards
• Use tools and equipment safely and escalate deviations to supervisors
• Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and site stakeholders

Requirements

• Good command of French
• Basic working knowledge of English
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work instructions
• Basic computer skills (web browsers, email, office applications)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Ability to handle, move, and position hardware safely
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift or manoeuvre heavy equipment
• Ability to work in technical environments with noise and temperature variations
