About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage all plant operations relative to assembly
  • Provide leadership and establish scope for ISO 9001 and Lean Manufacturing
  • Support and train Managers and Supervisors to meet or exceed Plant Measurables
  • Utilize PFMEA, Value Stream Maps, Work Instructions, and Standard Work to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Act as Pilot Plant Coordinator for pilot builds and new product launches
  • Oversee Engineering Change Requests and Orders at both plant and corporate levels
  • Collaborate with Corporate Engineering to design reliable, assembly-friendly products
  • Maintain quality, production, and safety standards in accordance with ISO 9001 and company procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business, or 10 years of Manager/Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Experience with MAPICS
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Standards and Lean Manufacturing
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
