About the role
Responsibilities
- Disassemble and clean incoming equipment for repairs
- Inspect and replace worn parts as needed
- Assemble and test new tank cleaning machines according to product standards
- Conduct performance tests on repaired and new units
- Document repair work and complete required reports
- Package and prepare equipment and spare parts for shipping
- Assist with inventory by picking and stocking parts
- Follow production work orders and meet productivity targets
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., ratchets, socket wrenches, screwdrivers)
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or small engine repair
- Forklift experience
