Assembly Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5-7 employees in the assembly department
• Train, coach, and mentor team members to work through tier levels
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and quality checklists
• Review timesheets and manage team workload to meet production deadlines
• Act as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding policies and attendance
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and report variances
• Provide performance feedback and conduct 90-day reviews

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in assembly, welding, overhead crane, or fabrication
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
• At least 1 year as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in welding or fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts
• Strong math skills and ability to use a tape measure
