Assembly Integration and Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform development and production of Space System componentry and Satellites
• Assemble or perform rework on components including Fluid Systems, Propulsion Systems, Reaction Wheels, and Flight Computers
• Test prototyping hardware with minimal direction
• Manufacture and integrate space standard harnesses
• Mechanically integrate space system components adhering to technical processes
• Perform system level faultfinding including continuity checks, functional checks, and leak tests
• Author new or revised assembly work procedures and documentation
• Follow department policy for As-built accuracy and quality processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience for Technician III (8+ years for Senior)
• Hands-on experience with electrical assembly tools and bench testing
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Familiarity with flight hardware or high-reliability systems
• High school Diploma or GED
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 or AS9100 requirements
• Experience in ESD safe zones and clean rooms
• Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620C or AC 43.13
• Experience using calibrated tools like calipers or micrometers
