Assembly Integration and Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the assembly and integration of satellite components and systems in compliance with engineering specifications
• Develop and execute detailed test plans for functional, environmental, and performance testing
• Conduct integration tests to validate system performances and maintain documentation
• Collaborate with design, systems engineering, and quality assurance teams to resolve integration issues
• Use specialized test equipment for data acquisition during assembly and integration
• Ensure activities adhere to NASA and industry guidelines
• Participate in anomaly investigations to determine root causes and propose corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in assembly, integration, and testing of aerospace or complex systems
• Hands-on experience with satellite or space vehicle assembly
• Understanding of environmental testing including thermal and vibration
• Experience with Python, LabVIEW, or equivalent data analysis tools
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Willingness to travel to test sites and customer locations
