About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure production lines run according to target cycle times and resolve process issues.
- Lead continuous improvement activities to reduce manufacturing costs.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including PFMEA, Work Instructions (WI), and mistake-proofing protocols.
- Manage new project launches, ensuring requirements for CMK, cycle time, poka-yoke, and operator training are met.
- Collaborate with Regional Industrial Engineering on machine concepts, layouts, and equipment procurement.
- Participate in the pre- and final acceptance of new equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a process engineer within the automotive assembly industry.
- Proven expertise in assembly processes, specifically press-to-fit and torque tightening.
- Strong knowledge of mistake-proofing (poka-yoke) and tool/fixture design.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience or technical know-how in shock absorber production processes.
