Assembly Engineer

Responsibilities

• Validate the assembly feasibility of parts and tooling on assembly line stations
• Analyze assembly issues encountered during the industrialization phase
• Propose and implement suitable technical solutions
• Update process documentation including FOP and operating modes
• Update assembly graphs and assembly sequences
• Formalize assembly feasibility agreements with suppliers and manufacturers
• Monitor field issues and lead associated action plans
• Collaborate closely with industrialization, production, and supplier teams
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of assembly processes

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive assembly methods and/or product-process industrialization
• Experience in a factory environment (bodywork or assembly) is highly appreciated
• Proficiency in CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE
• Knowledge of industrial tools such as SIGNE, RVT, OneView, BOM, ProAPW, DST, or TPR
• Professional fluency in French
