Assembly

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test optical systems and sub-assemblies to precise specifications
• Prepare components and hardware, including painting, alodine, priming, and cleaning
• Assemble components following routers, drawings, and written procedures
• Align systems and assemblies to meet technical specifications
• Perform in-process testing, including basic interferometry and open optical testing
• Complete processing and final testing documentation with supervision
• Prepare completed assemblies for customer shipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of industrial experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Proficiency in Algebra and Basic Trigonometry
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work a weekend night shift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 4:00 PM to 5:00 AM)
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment (Class 1000 or 10000)

Preferred Qualifications

• DMAIC yellow belt training
• Experience with optical testing equipment
