Assembly C

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations on electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies
• Operate various manufacturing equipment including air drivers, drills, rivet guns, sanders, and drill presses
• Execute hand soldering of wires, terminals, splices, and PCB through-hole and surface mount components
• Prepare and apply various adhesive materials using a scale
• Work with small hardware components such as screws, rivets, washers, and nuts
• Inspect components and subassemblies for defects and ensure completed assemblies meet quality standards
• Maintain accurate assembly and quality records and paperwork
• Communicate production statuses and issues to the Assembly Manager

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a 2-year post-secondary/Associate's degree with at least 2 years of related experience
• Proficiency in mechanical hand work and the use of manufacturing equipment
• Skilled soldering abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment and work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• J-STD-001 soldering certification
• Previous experience in a manufacturing assembly environment
• Strong mechanical inclination
• Basic computer navigation skills
