Assembly B

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and execute assembly instructions from technical documents and Descriptions of Manufacture (DOM)
• Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components using hand tools, tweezers, and automated equipment
• Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing
• Conduct visual inspections of components and subassemblies to ensure conformance with quality standards and blueprints
• Accurately complete required assembly and quality documentation
• Participate in daily GEMBA meetings to identify production issues and contribute to continuous improvement
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety, security, and export control (ITAR/EAR) protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience, OR an Associate's Degree with 0-2 years of experience
• Manual dexterity and the ability to handle small parts and tools with precision
• Ability to read and comprehend technical blueprints and assembly instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 32 pounds
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly
• Proficiency in hand soldering of electronic components
• IPC J-STD-001 certification or equivalent industry standard
• Familiarity with defense industry quality systems such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
