About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 5-7 employees in the assembly department
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to work through tier levels
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and quality checklists
  • Manage team workload to align with production deadlines
  • Review timesheets and assist with time management via company app
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and report variances
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding policies and attendance

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in assembly, welding, overhead crane, or fabrication
  • At least 1 year as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in welding and/or fabrication
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Proficiency with overhead cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts
  • Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
  • Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
