About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and build non-Marine & Defense sub-assemblies, rotating groups, pumps, and motors with precise tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot and repair REO and failed test stand pumps and motors to full operational status.
  • Set up and operate assembly department test stands and interpret test procedures to ensure quality standards.
  • Interpret hydraulic schematics, pressure gauges, strip recorders, and test stand "x-y" plots.
  • Utilize hand tools and measurement instrumentation, including micrometers and calipers, to verify dimensional requirements.
  • Complete all required quality and customer documentation and reports.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in all working areas to support assembly operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in mechanical assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing, military, or aviation environment, OR an Associate degree in Precision Manufacturing.
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and component prints.
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to access export-controlled information.
  • Must reside within 50 miles of Jackson, MS.
