Assembly and Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and test functions for cameras using specialized fixtures in accordance with defined procedures
• Enter test results into the applicable quality database
• Use automated test equipment to perform functional test procedures
• Recognize, document, and escalate test and quality-related issues regarding products and processes
• Perform unit inspections and minor repairs or troubleshooting as necessary
• Manage incoming materials for engineering prototypes and production builds using SAP
• Perform periodic cycle counts and material support
• Support electrical and test engineers with board component soldering, rework, and fixture wiring

Requirements

• Professional education as an "Elektroniker für Geräte und Systeme" or a similar qualification
• Ability to interpret BOMs, process flows, work instructions, and deviations
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PC-based quality data entry
• Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in an assembly and test environment
• Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP systems
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• Proficiency in soldering and rework
