Assembly and Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electronic components using tools including torque wrenches
• Apply staking materials for stability
• Use production tracking software to track builds and workflow
• Execute basic test scripts and bash commands on hardware systems
• Record, document, and communicate test results clearly and accurately
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve assembly or test issues

Requirements

• Certification to IPC-A-610, 7711, 7721 J-STD-001 (Space and Military Applications Electronic Hardware Addendum), and IPC CID/CID+
• Extensive experience reworking PCBAs
• Associate's Degree, Trade School certification, or 3+ years of professional technical experience
• Familiarity with electronics lab equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, microscopes, spectrum analyzers)
• Ability to read electrical schematics, datasheets, and mechanical drawings
• Experience with quality control, inspection, and/or testing
• Basic electrical understanding and fundamental engineering concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electronic debugging
• Prior experience in hardware production environments such as aerospace, medical, or RF
