Assembly and Configuration Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble mounted hydraulic products, including installing and tightening bolts and hydraulic hoses per instructions
• Safely operate heavy machinery, including tow motors and overhead cranes
• Perform basic diagnostic checks and minor repairs on equipment prior to shipment
• Test and document proper operating parameters
• Complete and submit accurate work orders and reports with timely time allocation
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, orderly workspace
• Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of PPE
• Train and assist other technicians as necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Two years of related experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the mining industry
• Experience working with heavy equipment
