Assembler

Responsibilities

• Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, or other fasteners
• Use engineering prints, drawings, routing sheets, and specifications to guide assembly
• Utilize hand tools, fixtures, and test benches to assist in assembly operations
• Detect discrepancies in parts or documentation
• Assemble, package, and move products to the backflushing area
• Set up and test assembled products and sub-assemblies per specifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly
• Computer literacy and ability to operate electronic equipment
• Basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals)
• Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions and communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP Systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
