Assembler

Responsibilities

• Receive and interpret instructions, prints, and work orders to plan assembly operations
• Perform a wide variety of assembly tasks while maintaining close tolerance and alignment
• Rig and operate department cranes to handle, move, and position parts or units
• Utilize various equipment, tools, fixtures, and instruments to execute complex work
• Inspect work using gauges to ensure products meet specifications without deviation
• Perform gasket cutting and apply adhesives and gasketing to heat exchangers
• Maintain equipment through daily lubrication and cleaning
• Adhere to all safety and shop rules and assist in training new employees

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED
• 1 year of manufacturing assembly experience
• Ability to pass a written test
• Ability to lift 30-35 lbs
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, and move about a manufacturing floor environment
