About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, build, and fabricate defect-free parts and finished products according to written processes
  • Hand solder, measure, and epoxy components
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders, Product Planners, and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve problems and improve processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5/6S standards
  • Follow ISO standards and open shop order reports
  • Mentor new manufacturing employees and serve as a manufacturing cell point person when assigned
  • Participate in company training and Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience using hand tools
  • Ability to read and understand written processes
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow all company policies
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform light lifting (20-30 lbs)
  • Availability for a flexible 40-hour week, including moderate overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous production or assembly background
  • Soldering skills
