Assembler Welder

Responsibilities

• Weld components using blueprints, drawings, and written specifications
• Plan and lay out work in vertical, horizontal, flat, and overhead positions
• Install and connect hydraulic controls, pumps, rams, and other system elements
• Mount and connect engines, gearboxes, axles, and other power components
• Set up and adjust welding equipment and use various hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean assembly area and follow all prescribed safety regulations
• Detect and report defective materials or unusual operating conditions to the supervisor
• Maintain accurate work-related records and reports

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proven ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Proficiency in welding (must pass a welding test)
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
• Ability to handle moderate physical demands, including lifting up to 30 lbs and climbing ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as a welder
• Knowledge of MFG Pro
• Basic understanding of troubleshooting principles and mechanical components
