Assembler

Responsibilities

• Portion veggies, grains, spices, and sauces into containers
• Inspect products for quality and maintain food safety standards
• Prepare packaging inventory, including making cardboard boxes
• Pack products into boxes and insulate shipping containers
• Label finished products for shipping
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with the team to meet daily production goals

Requirements

• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
• Basic arithmetic skills for weighing and measuring food
• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day in a cold environment (approx. 39°F)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds frequently
• Ability to use hands and fingers for fine manipulation

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in food production or manufacturing
• Relevant food safety certifications or licenses
