Assembler, Tank & Canopy

Responsibilities

• Assemble sheet metal refrigerated cases using various hand and power tools
• Read and comprehend work orders, "A" orders, and part descriptions
• Identify specific parts and their correct placement on assigned product lines
• Utilize measuring instruments such as rulers, tape measures, and metal squares
• Fasten components together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling
• Work collaboratively within an assembly team to complete units
• Rotate between different workstations as production needs require

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with or without mechanical aids, on a recurring basis
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
• Ability to read and interpret measuring instruments
• Capability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, or kneeling
• Ability to work in a production environment subject to temperature variations, noise, and dust

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
