About the role
Responsibilities
- Assemble and packout products following specific procedures within a lean manufacturing environment
- Verify the integrity of materials to be assembled and report any defects or non-conforming materials
- Maintain inventory, equipment, data collection, and housekeeping within the assigned work area
- Follow all applicable ISO and job-specific procedures, including maintaining ESD integrity
- Utilize various hand tools such as pliers, rulers, cutters, and pneumatic tools like torque drivers and wrenches
- Ensure the accuracy of work-in-process and maintain a clean workspace using 5S principles
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to read assembly procedures and follow visual aids
- Ability to follow mechanical and electrical drawings
- Basic mechanical assembly knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a lean team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical training
- Previous experience in electro-mechanical assembly
- Electrical wiring skills
