Responsibilities
- Assemble protection, communication, and control devices such as switches, relays, solenoids, and control systems
- Use fixtures, machines, presses, and tools to assemble parts according to prints and routers
- Route, cut, and solder wires to connect electrical units using hand tools
- Inspect and test wire assemblies using ohmmeters or resistance testers to check for resistance, shorts, and grounds
- Adjust contacts, stake units, and adjust springs and shafts to meet specifications
- Maintain production reports and track component status
- Perform detail painting and/or engraving of parts as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of manufacturing work experience
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Technical aptitude to comprehend complex technical topics
- Ability to use analytical and problem-solving skills
