Responsibilities

• Assemble protection, communication, and control devices such as switches, relays, solenoids, and control systems
• Use fixtures, machines, presses, and tools to assemble parts according to prints and routers
• Route, cut, and solder wires to connect electrical units using hand tools
• Inspect and test wire assemblies using ohmmeters or resistance testers to check for resistance, shorts, and grounds
• Adjust contacts, stake units, and adjust springs and shafts to meet specifications
• Maintain production reports and track component status
• Perform detail painting and/or engraving of parts as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of manufacturing work experience
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Technical aptitude to comprehend complex technical topics
• Ability to use analytical and problem-solving skills
