Assembler

Responsibilities

• Manually place parts on circuit boards according to workmanship standards
• Perform standardized electronic assembly operations and component labeling
• Prepare and assemble inserted components per visual aids
• Visually inspect parts for proper insertion and placement
• Utilize barcode scanners and small hand tools
• Maintain progress reports and restock parts bins
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the assigned area
• Adhere to all safety, health, and company security policies

Requirements

• Ability to follow detailed verbal or written instructions and visual aids
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to operate a personal computer with Windows-based operating systems
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and establish facts
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
