Assembler III

Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations using hand, air, and power tools
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications
• Read and interpret shop orders and follow oral and written directions in English
• Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and perform necessary repairs
• Set work priorities to meet production goals and maintain QA/QC standards
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including following hazardous waste disposal and spill response procedures
• Work independently or within a team to meet production schedules

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related assembly or manufacturing experience
• Proficiency with hand, air, and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret English and Metric tape measures and other measuring devices
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to stand at a workstation for 10 hours per day
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and temperatures exceeding 100 degrees
