Assembler II

Responsibilities

• Install various vehicle interior and exterior components and hardware
• Set work priorities to meet production goals and schedules
• Meet all QA and QC standards for each assigned task
• Maintain high standards of safety and 5S manufacturing protocols
• Promote the use of Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement tools
• Work with minimal supervision while maintaining close attention to detail
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and written instructions
• Proficiency with various tools including drills, screw guns, table saws, band saws, and routers
• Ability to use linear and other measuring devices
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
• Ability to stand at a workstation for up to 10 hours a day
• Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions, including working from ladders or scaffolding
• Strong communication skills to understand and follow instructions in English

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
