Assembler II

Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations using hand and power tools
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications
• Read and interpret shop orders and follow oral and written directions in English
• Set work priorities to meet production goals and maintain quality standards
• Identify and repair units that fail tests or do not meet tolerance levels
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including following housekeeping and hazardous waste disposal procedures
• Work with minimal supervision across multiple areas of discipline

Requirements

• 1-3 years of related assembly or manufacturing experience
• Proficiency with hand, air, and power tools
• Ability to read and use English and Metric tape measures and other measuring devices
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to work in high-heat environments (above 100 degrees) for extended periods
• Ability to stand at a workstation for eight hours a day and work in noisy or dusty conditions
