Assembler II, Electrical Cell

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine necessary materials
• Assemble electrical controls and mount electrical enclosures and devices on cases or structural surfaces
• Run wiring, cables, and conduit in accordance with recognized electrical standards (UL471, NEMA, NEC)
• Attach wire ends to components, plugs, or terminal strips using crimping devices
• Create formal documentation for controller assembly functions
• Perform electrical testing and mark identifying data on completed wiring
• Proactively drive continuous improvement efforts and work closely with engineering resources
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all company safety policies
• Train other team members as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with low-voltage electrical systems (e.g., fire alarms, access control, or life-safety systems)
• Ability to understand and interpret basic electric circuitry
• Proficiency with hand and power tools required for electrical applications
• Knowledge and capability of using basic electrical test equipment
• Demonstrated ability to read instructions and wiring diagrams

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience performing electrical work
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
