Assembler II

Responsibilities

• Program, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting for automated and robotic machinery
• Read and comprehend work orders and "A" orders to identify parts and placement
• Perform assembly functions using various hand and power tools
• Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
• Utilize measuring instruments such as rulers, tape measures, and metal squares
• Perform appropriate preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling
• Work collaboratively within an assembly team to complete units

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with or without mechanical aids, on a recurring basis
• Physical ability to stand, bend, push, pull, squat, or kneel
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical instructions
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Ability to work in a production environment with temperature variations and noise

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
