Assembler I

Responsibilities

• Install and mount electrical and non-electrical interior/exterior components and hardware
• Assemble fabricated parts, components, or other units at designated stations
• Read blueprints and engineering specifications to ensure accurate assembly
• Inspect products to ensure they meet manufacturing quality and safety standards
• Assist in leading personnel and communicating tasks to work cell members
• Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to all departmental safety requirements

Requirements

• Ability to use common hand tools and power tools (drills, screw guns, caulk guns, etc.)
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
• Ability to lift 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments
• Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing ladders
• Successful completion of drug and background screening

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED
