Assembler I

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations
• Work from visual aids, diagrams, schematics, and written or verbal assembly instructions
• Set initial layouts and use various tools to prepare products
• Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies
• Perform quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with specifications
• Assist in disassembling, modifying, or reassembling experimental or prototype assemblies

• Basic knowledge of production-related systems and procedures
• Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions and standard operating procedures
• Ability to use various assembly tools and equipment
