About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build sub-assemblies and assemblies involving complex and repetitive wiring for Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS)
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent production quality
  • Perform visual inspections of materials before and after the assembly process
  • Use various fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair products
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with plant quality standards
  • Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations
  • Maintain machines and tools through proper calibration and perform housekeeping duties using 5S+ principles
  • Provide ideas for process and safety improvements

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to distinguish colored wiring
  • Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with standard operating procedures
  • Previous experience with electrical product assembly, maintenance, or repair
  • Soldering experience
  • Basic experience with computers
