Assembler I

Responsibilities

• Assemble products by positioning and installing components and subassemblies according to drawings and instructions
• Use hand and power tools to connect parts and perform tube installation and rolling operations
• Read blueprints, assembly instructions, and parts lists to prepare work and verify specifications
• Use precision measuring devices, such as calipers and tape measures, to check the quality of completed components
• Operate industrial machinery including cut saws, drill presses, and punch presses to fabricate parts
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions with supervisor approval
• Safely rig and move materials using an overhead crane
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and prioritize strict adherence to all company safety policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic math skills, including the ability to read a tape measure and calipers
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for the majority of a work shift
• Ability to work the 2nd shift in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of professional manufacturing experience
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints
• Experience operating industrial machines (radial drills, fin tube machinery, band saws, etc.)
• Forklift operation certification
• Experience with overhead crane operation
