About the role
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electronic components according to detailed work instructions and blueprints
- Inspect and verify parts and assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment adhering to company policies and safety standards
- Document assembly activities and report any deviations or defects promptly
Requirements
- Extensive experience in mechanical and electronic assembly in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of interpreting blueprints, assembly instructions, and quality standards
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Experience with troubleshooting assembly issues and implementing corrective actions
- Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status) due to export control laws
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification in assembly or manufacturing
- Experience in aerospace or industrial manufacturing sectors
- Basic knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
