About the role

Responsibilities

  • Install and connect hydraulic and mechanical components and systems
  • Mount, hook-up, and connect engines, gear boxes, axles, and other power components
  • Assemble mounted hydraulic products, including installation and tightening of bolts and hoses per work instructions
  • Perform rigging and lifting of components using a crane
  • Maintain assembly area cleanliness and perform 5S activities
  • Detect and report defective materials, faulty operations, or unusual conditions to the Supervisor
  • Follow all prescribed safety regulations, guidelines, and identify safety risks
  • Maintain work-related records and reports

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of assembly experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and comprehend specifications, blueprints, and schematics
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems, etc.)
  • Knowledge of safe working practices in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
