About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly operations on drilling rigs and equipment following company safety guidelines
  • Install and connect hydraulic controls, pumps, rams, and other system elements
  • Mount and connect engines, gearboxes, axles, and other power components
  • Assemble hydraulic products, including installing and tightening bolts and hydraulic hoses per process sheets
  • Detect and report defective materials, faulty operations, or unusual conditions to the supervisor
  • Maintain a clean assembly area and keep accurate work-related records and reports
  • Assist with occasional duties such as training new hires and managing rejected parts paperwork

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Proficiency in reading and using blueprints, specifications, and schematics
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical components and their ideal operation
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting principles
  • Ability to meet moderate physical demands, including lifting up to 30 lbs and working at elevated heights using ladders or lifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience as an assembler
  • Previous experience with blueprint reading in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of MFG Pro software
