Assembler

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations on drilling rigs and equipment following company safety guidelines
• Install and connect hydraulic controls, pumps, rams, and other system elements
• Mount and connect engines, gearboxes, axles, and other power components
• Assemble hydraulic products, including installing and tightening bolts and hydraulic hoses per process sheets
• Maintain a clean assembly area and follow prescribed safety regulations
• Detect and report defective materials or unusual operating conditions to the supervisor
• Maintain work-related records and reports

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Strong knowledge of mechanical components and their ideal operation
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and comprehension)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and handle moderate physical demands
• Ability to work at elevated heights using ladders or lifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as an assembler
• Specific training in reading blueprints
• Knowledge of MFG Pro
